The Journey Is The Destination

Those who follow Soozys’ and my journals will probably know if given the option we prefer to travel “indirectly,” exploring and experiencing places rather than opting for the shortest distance between two points.
Well today we took that philosophy to the extreme.
The 150 mile two and a half hour trip between Cawdor and home turned into a 230 mile 13 hour adventure hugging the north east cost of Scotland.
We stopped at and enjoyed lots of places including Aldearn, Findhorn, Buckie, Findochty, Cullin Skink for lunch in Cullin, Fordyce, Portsoy, Macduff, Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Montrose, Arbroth, Dundee and Perth
The photo today is Macduff harbour. Soozy spotted the evening light on the old lighthouse as we drove past so we had to stop.
