Watercolours

I have an arty friend staying for a few days and today we went to a watercolour workshop near Coniston. Great day. I haven't painted like this since I was at primary school. I found it quite difficult but enjoyed it nevertheless. We got to bring our work home with us!

No 1 son phoned today to say he had been successful in his application to do a PhD. He was very excited and I am delighted for him. Great news.
