Queen's Baton Relay

In between 2 end-of-term services and an afternoon's teaching, I was glad to be able to observe the Queen's Baton passing through Lossiemouth this lunchtime. (Missed it in Huntly yesterday). The Olympic Torch didn't pass anywhere I could particularly get to easily, so it was great to see the Commonwealth Games equivalent. Tagged along with my Tuesday morning P5 class and it was super fun - everybody had so much enthusiasm, even the cops who were providing the safety escort. This is the first Lossie baton bearer, Kenneth Robertson.

Many thanks also go to my St Gerardine's colleague Laura for propping me up on the fence (and stopping my dress from blowing up!).
