Plant DNA

I have not the vaguest idea what this is but I noticed come into bloom just a day or so ago on my neighbour’s bush and I was amazed how nature could form elegant shapes out of endless repetitions of small flowers each almost identical What is it in the DNA of plants that causes such marvels. You will need to look LARGE just to see what I’m talking about and yet it seems such a common phenomena among a whole range of plants
