Ardgour

Up in Ariundle with the club (near the village of Strontian which strontium is named after). Nice walk through the ancient oak woods and onto Sgurr Dhomnhuill . Weather wasn't too great; still, damp and very midge. The midges didn't abate until we reached the summit and a breeze appeared. With no views looking like appearing we dropped into the bealach and then onto the second top to take the ridge back to Ariundle in the hope that the clouds would lift.

Eventually they did and we got marvellous views across Ardgour, Ardnamurchan and the islands. Quick shower then an a lovely meal followed by lashing of malt whisky. A rather nice day
