Petanque Night Again

It was the turn of Creigiau tonight to play us ...

We like nothing if not to entertain!

The first game was slipping from us slowly and steadily and we were 12-9 down and looking like delaying the inevitable. But that is the beauty of this game, you haven't won until you have scored 13.

We scored one the next end to make it 12-10, but were out of boules first after I made shot with my last one. They couldn't get shot back to win the game. 12-11. Another one 12-12! Last end decider ... and we did it! 13-12 victors!

The second game followed the same pattern, but we just couldn't take advantage when we had boules in hand ... two ends we picked up a 1, when a 2 or a 3 would have closed the game out in the end. We lost 13-10.
