Between the clouds

We left home at 7:30 a.m. & arrived In Albany around noon. We DID have a stop over in Newark, New Jersey for almost an hour, so the overall travel time wasn't bad at all! Really rough ride as we were over New York City but I forgot all about it when I was looking down at the water & all of a sudden, there was Lady Liberty below me on Ellis Island! We were pretty high up, but she was still visible! Really cool! Got off the plane, walked outside & the kids & grandkids were there waiting! What a welcome! I was handed an envelope full of artwork : "we made these just for you grandma"! It's going to be a great week! :)
