That's More Like It!

Our turn for some blue sky and sunshine today, as the weather stood on its head:-) This is the Lavatera against the sky - it grows like a weed, although the flower is very pretty.

Managed a supermarket shop this morning, but almost wished I hadn't as I keep forgetting what poor quality meat and vegetables it provides. A Jamie Oliver recipe that my husband and I cooked together last week and which tasted like manna from heaven, was spoiled today by too much water in the chicken and tasteless tomatoes! The local Co-op produce was far superior:-)

A few more stepping stones got jet-washed this afternoon, but it will be a slow process, as he has problems with dodgy vertebrae in his neck and finds looking down strains it too much. Not just an excuse, but a genuine cause for concern:-)
