Tubing on the Willamette River

A long bike ride on the Willamette River Trails today.

The afternoon was in the upper 80’sF with dazzlingly bright sunshine.

On one of my river bridge crossings I noticed folks taking advantage of the Willamette River’s cool water to escape the warm air and hot sun by floating downstream.

There was quite a spectrum of people’s reactions to the experience of passing through the rapids.
