The Storm Approaches..

And is now here - tree branches lashing in the wind, rain hammering down - it looks really grim out there.

30 minutes ago we were coming back from dinner - dressed in summer clothes and thinking "this is nice".

And now I've just had the shout from upstairs - our terrace has been devastated. Tomatoes kaputt and the flowers from yesterday are on the floor. Lots of plants will not make it.

It's really wild out there.
