Sea View

... is what I'm considering calling the bungalow.

If one presses one's left temple to the window at the back of the bungalow, one can catch a glimpse of the sea, since I cut back the rampant ivy and reduced the size of the camellia.

This is the view if you stand on a garden chair in one corner of the back yard. You can see a bit of the headland at Stoke Fleming. (I've zoomed in a little here; without zoom you can even see Stoke Fleming church tower.)

The problem is, we have fantastic views from the house, but the living is easy and comfortable, warm and dry - and quiet, here in the bungalow. Don't know where we'll finally reside, but comfort is very tempting. And, of course, we only have to step into the front garden to see the sea. We're spoilt, really.

Decisions, decisions ...

... but they'll wait. There's still an awful long way to go to getting the house fit to live in. At least now that the swallows have flown, we can get in and out of the front door without having to clean the door-handle before opening it! Fun fun fun!
