Wedding Cake

And so ... another backblip! Given that Blipfoto's changed the rules so that you can post images on the 'wrong day', I decided I might as well share yet another wedding-related blip!

Our daughter's wedding last Saturday had a bit of a sea theme going on and the cake was no exception. This wondrous creation was made by the French owners of a Dartmouth cake shop (Saveurs). Each layer was a different flavour and the blue icing represented the depths of the sea, decorated with all sorts of wild and wonderful sea creatures made of sugar. The sea bed was made of demerara sugar. (It even had the groom's family dog swimming alongside the bride and groom's sugar boat!)

Oh, and it's delicious, too!
