Cotswold Show & Food Festival

Mr E and I had a great day at the Cotswold Show today, when we finally got in! The roads leading to it were gridlocked but it was worth it.

I was spoilt for choice for my blip today as there were falcons, owls, meerkats and alpacas all vying for the spot. The falconry display with a peregrine was out of this world and I could easily have come home with a car boot full of gorgeous dogs.

I had a particularly long 'conversation' with a small, grey lurcher called Harry. My girls would have loved him.

I sampled lots of delicious food and came home with a pot of lavender jelly and a bottle of Danzy Jones, which is a Welsh whisky laced with rose hips. We had Oggies for lunch, (the Welsh version of a Cornish pasty that includes leeks in the ingredients). Not a good day to be on a diet :-)
