Eaten to bits

While we have been away these little caterpillars have been at work chomping their way through our Solomon's Seal.
Happens every year, but they are nice when in flower see here
And I just cut the stems down when all the these little creatures have had their fill.
I bet the birds like them!
All part of the food chain!

We watched Le Tour go from Cambridge to London, through Essex, and some beautiful countryside. It was lovely to see the crowds that had turned out there as well, especially through the little village of Finchingfield, which we have been to many times.
A pity it was raining in London! For once we had better weather up here in Yorkshire!
