More flowers

Here are some plants, that I blipped on my walk to work this morning. Surprisingly, I know what they are I think, and that is without the use of Google or Wiki, honest!

At the forefront is Eryngium or Alpine Sea Holly with Esther Reed daisies behind.

I am really surprised about the amazing array of different plants and flowers I see in the suburban gardens of west Edinburgh, on my walks to and from work. It is plainly apparent that people take a real pride with how their gardens look, with manicured lawns and some spectacular plants. So thank you to all these gardeners who brighten the start to my day and put me in a good mood for work.

Hurrah for the suburbs!

Hope you have all had a good Wednesday.
