Exhibition- Dollar Summer School

Animal artist Anne Purdie can always be relied upon to add a touch of glamour to an event.

Tonight at the 55th annual exhibition of Dollar Summer School Anne added a splash of colour to the evening.

Well, the week is over and we were thoroughly taken out of our comfort in printmaking with Joe Davie, our teacher, a man with infinite patience with us all. Yes we know its good for us to have a shake up and we certainly got that as we did a roller-coaster through lino-cuts, dry point etching, screen-printing, monoprinting, copper etching and a variety of other techniques which did not involve print presses.

Oh yes, I sold a linocut of Taz…much to my surprise.
