Wedding II

Weddings seem to be like busses, you don’t see one for years and two come along in quick succession. Although to be fair, the one we attended today was just the evening shindig; pig roast, band, disco, bar in a huge marquee in the middle of a field.

It was the wedding of the son, Simon, of my ex-manager and friend, John Burr and his wife Jennnie, to Caroline. All four of whom are shown on the blip collage.

As to be expected we didn’t know many people there, but Roz was invited too so at least we had someone to chat too.

Unfortunately the pig roast didn’t have a vegetarian option, bun with nothing in it I suppose, but we’d had a good lunch, and rolls and cheese was brought out later.

The band was good, and even the disco played some decent music. A large bonfire was lit away from the marquee, though not many people took a lot of notice of it, just those hardy folk who’d gone out for a cigarette.
