Unreal

This is a significantly adjusted image of the balcony of our villa.  I've just finished reading 'The Cuckoo's Calling' by Robert Galbraith (ie J K Rowling) which involves a balcony and snow.  It was an easy holiday read, well-constructed but not too demanding of intellect and vocabulary.  The main character, Cormoron Strike, is an ex-soldier, ex-policeman, invalided from Afghanistan having lost a leg in an explosion, but has set himself up as a private detective.  His personal life and background is complicated but he is a likeable and plausible person mixing in a very unreal world of models and businessmen and, of course, he solves the case. Aspects of characters are skilfully linked together - a very enjoyable read.

So, my last day on the Costa Blanca until September!  A really enjoyable week of not doing a great deal. This image I took this afternoon with the real sky azure blue, not a cloud in sight.  We do have a lovely balcony on the villa but I think any snow is not a reality around here!
