St Peter, Hartshead

I stopped off here by chance, but managed to pass a very pleasant hour just soaking up the peace and quiet. The sun was hot and the breeze was gentle - perfect.

The church of St. Peter dates back to Norman times, and has connections to both the Bronte family and to Robin Hood.
