King Kool

Today was catch-up day and preparation for the week ahead - fieldwork every day (as long as it doesn't rain) so I'm not sure how the blipping will fit in...

This evening four of us went to the Willow Festival - a free music festival on the Embankment featuring local unsigned artists. It's organised by a family who we got to know through home education. It was pretty quiet thanks to some football game, but we had a great time eating sausage and tartiflette and then watching several bands.

We mainly went to see Intent to Supply, as we know their rhythm guitarist. They were excellent, though I'm not sure my ears are used to quite such high volumes any more! We then ended up seeingKing Kool, who I knew nothing about, but who gave an amzingly powerful and energetic set. So glad we went along - and thanks t all the organisers for providing Peterborough with such a great event.
