Summer berries & artichokes

Another sunny warm day, busy day on the yard mucking out & doing some tidying up. Bella who is in foal with an Embryo Transfer foal is due today but looks like she's going to hang on for a little while.

Worked the two 3yo horses, Quarters & Paprika, they were both good. Q did some in-hand work then some single line lunging. His trot-halts were quite good. Paprika had a saddle on for the first time, she wasn't bothered in the slightest. She did some good in-hand work, we practiced shoulder-in off the wall on her right rein which is her sticky side.

Harvested some berries and artichokes for dinner, they were great. I got stung & prickled to death but it was worth it. I picked some exceptionally good red gooseberries, along with raspberries, green gooseberries and a few blackcurrants. Good Sunday. Off to bed now!
