Heron

It's been a wee while since a heron-blip.
Ardea cinerea.

Another bit of work at the allotment in the morning. It's starting to look tended, which is good! Neighbour Eric was very impressed by the hedge-trimming.
I walked along the river to the hippy food shop, to pick up a couple of things and must have passed 4 herons on the way.

World Cup Final in the evening. I'm very glad it didn't go to penalties. A great goal to win it...
