Threatening sky but that's all

Today's weather turned out to be much better than expected. More rain was in the forcast however, after a dull start the clouds broke and we had a very pleasant day indeed. Out on our walk we did wonder if not taking an umbrella was a wise move especially as we saw this dark clouds away to the east highlighted by the sun behind us and contrasting with the ripening crops on the skyline. We needed not have worried - they were drifting away, posing no threat at all just creating a dramatic scene.

Tried, almost successfully, to speak to Chris on FaceTime this afternoon, texted him to see if he was available then learned through FaceBook that he was flying to Philadephia today. Turned out that he was flying with an airline that had internet access on board. Meanwhile not expecting him to reply I started an iOS update. Then he rain andmanaged to show a few shots out of the window before my phone started to reboot! When everything was sorted I tried again but only got stills of his face.

Spammed all the people in my contacts today too. Replied to an email from a friend which turned out to be a hack. Caused a bit of consternation around the world that did. First time I've ever been caught out like that. Had to put an apology on FB!

Finished the watering system - the few little glitches turned out to be more time consuming than I thought, but it all works now. Even the battery in the control unit on the tap was fine. Now a matter of fine tuning it so all the plants get the correct amount of water.
