Summer Days

If ever there was a flower that sums up the feelings of a hot, summer's day, then this must surely be it. I'm not sure what it is, but I've no doubt one of my Blip buddies will know. It stands in the front garden of a cottage just down the road from here and I think the reds and yellows epitomise the fierce heat of the summer. It was 30C in my lounge yesterday afternoon and it's looking like it's going to be pretty much the same today. Phew - what a scorcher!
