Siver Studded Blue Butterfly

Today I went to Prees Heath Nature Reserve, Shropshire which is owned by Butterfly Conservation and is the only place in The Midlands to see the rare Silver Studded Butterfly. This is a male, the female is brown but they both have silver studs round their wings. The lava are attended by ants before they emerge but this is difficult to see.
The multi coloured background is wild flowers and heather on the common.
