Girls on tour

Today was a little unsatisfactory despite its beauty and we only have ourselves to blame. We were attempting to find a climbing guide that Liz had emailed prior to coming out but with no response. We only had the Satnav for company... No map, no details, no nothing! How hard could it be?

Very!

Instead, we enjoyed driving through the Gorges du Verdon (which was spectacular); stopping off to feel giddy as we stared down into it; and sunbathing by the beautiful Lac de Sainte-Croix for a couple of hours before driving back.

This little village on a hill appeared just before we joined up with the gorge.

Our exercise consisted of a brisk walk into the town for our favourite rotisserie chicken which I doubt has been burnt off, but then that was part of the plan!
