'First Batch'..........!

Not a great picture and Blipping late tonight.....
This is the first batch of Redcurrant Jelly made....
It appears to be setting well and tasted delicious....
It is a beautiful deep red claret colour....
I forgot to put the Port in but will put it in some of tomorrows batch.....!
Then, horror of horrors...I discovered just a while ago that my bowl of Blackcurrants were starting to go mouldy.....
So, there went my night of sit down and relax.......I had to prepare them rapidly and the second pot of them is on simmering up now....
They will strain overnight and I will make jelly with them too...
much nicer than the jam!!!!
Lucky I checked them...!
