Temple Grafton

We went out to Temple Grafton this morning to visit our ex-neighbour Julia. Normally I don’t go with Ann, but she was having trouble with her laptop and computer, so I was invited along.

Just off the main road on the turning towards Temple Grafton is this field filled with lavender coloured flowers. I’m reliably informed that this is not lavender, but flax, it was very pretty regardless and worthy of a photo or two.

See if you can spot the birdie!

I didn’t mention yesterday that we went to The Swan last night to see the Jacobean comedy, The Roaring Girl. It was very good, bawdy in parts, and the Shakespearian language, albeit a bit more common, took some understanding. The live music played during the performance was excellent.
