Day 10

After a delayed flight, we finally made it to Hanoi, Vietnam.

We arrived in the evening, so tomorrow we'll get to open our eyes more, but from what we can tell, this city is gorgeous.

We've had a wonderful vacation so far, so this blip is dedicated to the comfort of a bed after a long day of travel. Our hotel room is nice, and we're close to a beautiful lake.

After checking in, we walked over to the Kangaroo Cafe for a hands down AMAZING meal. Through the cafe, we also booked what is going to be another highlight to our vacation--a 3 day, 2 night adventure on a boat in Ha Long Bay. Check out the cafe's website for more details, but our friends we met up with the other night who had been to Hanoi right before us had a blast doing the same thing, so we decided to fork out the cash.

Tomorrow, we will explore this historic city (it celebrates it's 1,000th birthday this year), and surely taste more local cuisine.

As for now, it's about time to jump in this comfy bed for a good night's rest.
