Restoration

This afternoon Mrs GOG and Victoria have been restoring the border of the orchard part of our garden, after its devastation by our builders at the beginning of May. The area in front of this picture still contains mainly rubble and needs a great deal of sorting out. While they have been doing this, I have been laying on the bed reading a book as I am not permitted to participate in this work, since I cannot lift anything more than about a kilo.

Today the vacuum pump and dressing were removed from my abdominal wound as it is almost completely healed, so I now look normal, although I still cannot do much.
