Should have practised more.

My tenor sax is beautiful, but is useless without a decent mouthpiece and reed. These latter are not big and shiny but have their own beauty in their simple lines and pared down functionality. I love knowing that individually you can't get a sound from mouthpiece, reed, or sax, but put them all together and something quite wonderful happens. I really do need to get on top of my pentatonic scales however.
