Arrival of the Red Arrows

Day 4 of the Farnborough Airshow, and as I wandered back to the office after lunch there was a loud roar of jets and the Red Arrows flew over my head in classic V formation with smoke trails following. I dug the little camera out of my bag in anticipation - and a minute or 2 later a single jet came back, banked and turned to land, with the rest following in sequence, a few seconds (and lots of air space!) behind. I managed to catch several of them on their final approaches.

They are probably here for the rest of the week now, with the public displays at the weekend.
