Cocktails on the beach

The boys were much better last night, thanks to advice from Emmy Hazyland and Peanut8067, I locked the boys in their crate, made up as a bed. They hadn't had any accidents and I took them straight out this morning to go to the toilet.

Sue our cleaner came for the first time today and she said they'd wee'd on the newspaper by the back door but other than that there were no problems. She played with them for a while before putting them in the pen in the garden while she got on with her cleaning. She's done a great job and Milou & Bobbie were taken care of too - the perfect solution!

At lunch time we went to the beach for cocktails as one of my colleagues leaves tomorrow. We really are lucky to be able to do this in our lunch break and we were laughing that no-one would think we'd come from a law firm as we were all dressed in summer clothes with sandles or flip flops, sunglasses and of course my camera. The cocktails were great and I had a pina colada which was served in that pineapple - it looks rather tropical, you wouldn't think we were in Brighton.

It's been really hot today and I cycled to work, but the journey home was difficult in the heat and I was glad to get home. We've been in the garden all night and the boys have had a great time playing, although Milou has started trying to 'hump' poor Bobbie! They're such lovely characters and each of them has a very different personality, one thing that makes us laugh is that Milou keeps trying to bury his chews under things and behind furniture, and he even buried it in our deep pile rug. Bobbie watches him and as soon as Milou moves away, Bobbie runs and gets it, then eats it!

Anyway, they've gone to bed and so have we - good night, it'll soon be the weekend :-)
