A Brave Pansy

This morning heralded the eighth frost for July. It was very white and crisp outdoors. The weather called for the wearing of multiple layers of Merino. I drove by Seymour Square on my way out with the dogs. The flower beds in the square have been planted out and numbers of small pansy plants were struggling to cope with the heavy frost.
This afternoon I met up with Rainie and husband Doug at the Raupo Café alongside the downtown stretch of the Taylor River. They were on their way from the Picton Ferry to Nelson and had stopped off in Blenheim for a meal. It was great fun talking Blip matters and photography with Rainie. Doug was an amused onlooker. I was so sorry when our time together came to an end. That is the wonderful thing about being part of the Blip-Family……we get to make new friends from all around New Zealand and the world. Thank you Blip Central for continuing to make Blipfoto happen…..
