Increasing bounty

Several years ago, I planted a patch of gladiolas along the east lawn for my Mike’s mom (who lives with us). Gladiolas, she told me, had been her father's favorite flowers. Hence the bed outside of her windows.

The original planting was of a wide variety of colors, from white and yellow to deep purple. Interestingly, most of them have died out over the years, except for these orange and yellow ones. These pretties have not only survived, but have prospered and added corms to their ranks, so our flower bounty expands each year.
