They've Returned!

Dear Diary,

The backyard is positively biblical lately. First the frogs and now the locust! But really, what an amazingly interesting little fellow! I've never looked this closely at them before. That head could be in a Steven Spielberg film!

Now that the grasshoppers and locust have shown up, the crows will have a field day...literally. They'll be walking my mowed field in search of these tasty delicacies. Everything works in such a wonderful dance of co-dependency in Nature. Cool mornings...warm afternoons...it doesn't get much better than this!
