Early morning in Mjóifjorður

The trouble with an Eastern fjord is that the sun gets up at about 3am and streams into the fjord from over the sea. It burns off the misty clouds and blasts through our flimsy curtains to batter me awake. Of course I resist pointlessly for a few hours before dragging myself up to get out to do my blipping duty. I stagger out onto the balcony to take some photos along the fjord in the rarely seen early morning light (for me), then close the curtains better and go back to bed.

I should get up early more often, but somehow it just never happens.
