London safe

An insignia bearing the name 'Cooke's, Finsbury, London EC2', sits on the front of this huge safe the size of an American fridge. It's still in use.

The owner, Norman, (81 yrs old) jokes that nobody could steal it as it's too big and heavy. And anyway, the room around it has been altered over the years so that it no longer fits through the doorway. It would be too thick to drill or cut through, too.

I believe it lives up to it's promise of being 'Fire and Thief Resisting'. It's a stalwart like Norman himself.
