God Said

God said to me...
There is a time of trying.
Get thee forth,
There is not a time of lying.

Set Thy House in Order,
And dwell thou in it.
Salvation comes to all,
Who works to ever win it.

Make readiness,
To gather with the throng.
And according to God's laws,
Take heed of all the wrong.

Take heed to thy brother's need,
And him that is forlorn.
The waif, the sick, the dying,
And those with cause to mourn.

Vow to take another's hand,
Stand by another's side.
Just make the world a better place,
Because you lived and died.
