Great Blue Heron. GX1, Leitz Telyt-V 200mm.

I was so thrilled by my new Blip spot that I had to take M to show her. The usual suspects were there again this evening at the weir, with the addition of a Great Blue Heron. There were several nice images to choose from today but he won the toss.
We were less than charmed with his manners when one of the Night-Herons from yesterday caught something that washed over the weir. Big Blue here tried to muscle the catch away from the smaller bird which had to take off to avoid losing his dinner.
