Snap!

We all went down to Yealmpton in Devon where Lynette and Ianthe are now staying with another old friend of ours from Kidderminster High School for Girls!
It was great to catch up with Susan and Rory who have just bought this beautiful property in Devon as a retirement place although they are still zipping back up to London regularly. I don't often suffer from envy but it was in such a lovely spot with its own riverside access and path, it was hard not too! A perfect place to write that book you've always wanted to write as well as lots of scope for 'doing it up'!

We had lunch outside on what must have been one of the most perfect days of the year weatherwise. I felt really sad to leave Lynette and Ianthe, driving back without them. It will probably be Christmas before we see each other again.
