Kipper Cabin

There is a god

He's made it rain.

It was only a sort of downpour, but it was just enough for the Ranger to hook his trolley up and set off around the campground selling bins of firewood. One for $7, three for $18. We bought four. Serious campfire enthusiasts, we are.

We've had a righteous meal roasted on the hob. And a pan of Jiffy Pop waiting for later.

The campground's come alive! The subdued undertones of sitting about waiting for rain have vanished. It's all whoops and hollers, the whiff of smoke on the air, and burnt marshmallows.

I came fifth of four in Scrabble. I'm outraged! Surely QUOXY is a word?!
