Brick Lane

Morning, in Brick Lane. I love this part of London. Hugenouts, silk, eat European Jews, bagels, Jack the Ripper, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis, curry, markets, exciting, vibrant and being gentrified by the day.

Meetings, in and out. Hot, very hot. Talking to the team back home about yesterday's arrival furniture surprise.

Then back to a very hot King's Cross to phone mum, 89 today and then try to watch the Opening Ceremony on the train wifi. Very challenging! I got home in time to see the end. It definitely looked better on TV.

And tomorrow I start my stunt as a Clyde-sider.
