Low mist/cloud?

Woke this morning to a really good frost. Noticed a long low misty cloud lying under the mountain, the sun hadn't risen so headed off with my camera and quite a few layers.
Arrived at the lake edge to find another photographer already there, although this is public land, very few people find their way to this spot.
As we photographers do, we started chatting and delighted to find that Gary was from Australia and was President of their local camera club, and is staying with some local residents. Have arranged to take him to our next Club meeting.
The sun came up and touched the cloud with soft pink, a good start to the morning.
