Shocking Pink

This is our latest rose to bloom and it's huge! There are several flowers out and they are all at least twice the size of our other roses. It looked a striking shocking pink in the sunshine, although it's actually a softer colour than this:-)

Too darned hot for me today and now I know what all the Southerners were going on about! Had planned to work in the garden, but had to leave it until after 6 pm to cut the grass and even then it was scorching. Stayed indoors with all the blinds drawn, which seemed like such a waste of a day, but managed to get two loads of washing done and dried and beds changed, so not entirely idle:-)
