Lily Survivors

Every year, I plant some number of Oriental or trumpet lilies in the garden. Alas, lilies are very tasty for rodents, so I don’t even bother with remembering or marking the names. When we raise them in pots for sticking into the summer “dull places,” we need to cover them with wire so they are not eaten in the pots. But, every now and then, some tough survivors surprise us in the garden. So it is with these creamy yellow beauties who have lost their names.
