Sunshine and the Opening Ceremony

Today we went out with Daddy to the holiday club, and saw lots of friends. Daddy left early because he was going to a funeral for a man from our church, John. Me and Mummy didn't go to the funeral but we walked up to our church so we could go to the reception afterwards. After the reception, we decided to go back with Daddy to his work. He was spending the afternoon playing games outside with some young people, and we could sit and watch. Esther was there with her Mummy, Cara, and lots of other people were watching and enjoying the sunshine. Me and Esther don't look too happy in this photo, but we were actually having fun; it was just a bit hot! We decided to stay out for the rest of the day and we went to Esther's flat, and then got fish and chips for dinner. Daddy and Cara went to work and me and Mummy stayed with Ruth and Steph, who were looking after Esther. It was fun to play with Esther. We watched the Opening Ceremony for the Commonwealth Games which are in Glasgow this year.
