Came home to the contents of what looked like someone's green wheely bin tipped out at the bottom of the stairs. It wasn't this of course, but the threatened 'gutting' of Euan's bedroom was in full swing and was certainly going through some major transmogrification.

For anyone who's ever read any 'Calvin and Hobbes' the word transmogrifier will be recognisable as one of the many objects a cardboard box became in the imagination of Calvin, along with a duplicator, a time-machine, a flying machine and numerous others.

And Euan, despite his room being gutted and countless long misplaced toys and games resurfacing, transmogrified his own cardboard box into... a library. And the books he took into his new reading room to be scanned by the light of an LED torch? Well, there was only one choice for those...
