Findings from a fungus foray

One of the advantages of going for a decent walk the other day was that we went to parts of the country that were less trod and as a consequence found some fungi. All too often in France, it is the early mushroomer that gets his cepe and we do not fit into the first category.
Above however drying in that rare commodity in the Ardeche, the sunshine, are the fruits of our labours.
The top ones are some form of cepe, bottom left is a penny bun and bottom right are chanterelles, or what the locals slightly confusingly call girolles. Never sure if there is a difference or not.
Dried now but rehydrated later they give a really strong flavour to a stew or an omelette. Looking forward to it already!
