Mackem victory

We have been to a friends BBQ this afternoon and evening. We've had a lovely time. Our friend whose garden it is has a lot of people staying over tonight including M & R who are sleeping in a caravan on the drive. R is a big newcastle fan, and loves to tease Mr H and I about being Sunderland fans.

When Mr H was still at work rather than using a brigade issue sleeping bag, he had a single quilt, so I bought him this quilt cover one year for his birthday. Once we knew R was staying over we just knew We had found a new use for it.

R is still at the BBQ, we left early as Reggie has been on his own for a while. I think R will get quite a surprise when he goes to bed this evening. I wish I could see his reaction!
